It's Trojan week!

Beat the Bruins! Here are a few pix of us having fun cheering on USC over the years! This is me last year in position and ready to run the ball in for a touchdown.

Here is Lauren almost 2 years ago (which would make her about 7 mos.) sportin' her USC duds!

Here I am on the Coliseum's 50 yard line! I'm not leaving til you give me seats right here!!! It's an annual tradition to go to the Trojan Huddle in the spring! I love running on the field and meeting the players, but the best thing is the In-n-Out Burgers! Mmmm!

Here we are last year where for the first time in for a REALLY LONG TIME (since my mom went there) they've burned a Bruin!

This is my impression of a Bruin.

This is Sissy and I the first time we got her really dressed up for a game. Do you think we go overboard? If your answer is anything besides "No way!" then we know who YOU'RE rooting for this Saturday!

Fight on Trojans!

Hole-y Incisors, Batman!

Another milestone - my first loose tooth! Mom said it made her feel old and I said are you sad to know you're going to die soon? Ah from the mouth of babes - that's what I always say!

I like to think that comment didn't prompt this next response. You judge for yourself...

Mom brushed my teeth and then tied the dental floss to the door per my friend Aidan's dad's instructions. I was getting a bit nervous but excited!

We slammed the door (at 7:30am mind you) and the string came flying out of my mouth... with no tooth. Determined and focused, we tried again! This time mom got the string tighter and lower and when she yanked it, suddenly we heard something hitting the baseboards! I looked in my mouth and saw...

Then we ran off to school where I proudly shared my new smile with everyone!

Later that day, as I talked to my family, I heard that two fantastic things that happen when you lose a tooth. We get visited not only by a tooth fairy (who I picture in a blue dress with blue rings and a tooth on her wand) but also by a tooth rat, (or mouse for the weak at heart).

So that night I very carefully put my tooth in my tooth fairy box and put it under my pillow!

I cannot believe someone wants to buy my tooth!

When I woke up, I had a Bicentennial Silver Dollar in my tooth box but my tooth vanished! Oh well, I didn't need it anymore anyway!

Now that I have one, I can't wait for my mom to say "You need that like a hole in your head!"

Sissy is showing everyone her mouth as well because she loves to copy me. Here she wants you to guess which cheek has a big round lemon drop in it and which one doesn't. Hard to tell huh? Her cheeks are round no matter what!

Oh, by the way... I'm 6!!!

Woo hoo!

Big Bed Night!

For those of you who didn't know, our couch is magic! It's a couch AND a bed...and a marble, coin, crayon, crumb catcher too, but that is for another day. Well we heard voices when we first moved here saying "Buy the couch and they will come"! We've had a few visitors like Nani and Bapu, Mom's friend Stacie... we won't show their morning pictures without asking them first... but on most weekends, it's just sitting there alone. SO Mom decided we would start having "BIG BED NIGHT" on Fridays to celebrate finishing the school/work week! We had our first one last week.

We got to watch movies, and even ate popcorn in bed (don't worry we'll change the sheets if you're coming to town), read my favorite new book "Runny Babbit," and then all 3 of us (Mom makes 3, not Binky the cat) slept in the bed.

Lauren snored (how can her cheeks stand up that high when she's sleeping on her back?) and moved a lot, I slept diagonally and Mom slept on her side on the very edge of the bed hoping our feet wouldn't push her out. We didn't get to do it again this weekend because Sissy is sick and believe me, we don't want what she got!

Nood Gight (that's Runny Babbit speak for Good Night!)!

Oh wait! Sissy and I got to paint on the walls, well paint on a wall... outside. Come on by and we'll show you where!

Mommy's running in a 4 mile run in the sand tomorrow with our Aunt Banana and Uncle Randy (who blames the girls). Whew, I hope she's not going to be cranky because a) it's early and b) she'll be sore! That's why I stick to Sand Angels, not as hard to make and they make me happy!
